Description

Purple vinyl with printed innersleeve. Limited 400 numbered copies

Massively influenced by Bay Area Thrash legends Exodus, by 1988 Vio-Lence had already released Eternal Nightmare; a promising debut which featured the pile driving Serial Killer and Kill On Command. But when the band’s label Mechanic went bust shortly thereafter, the act would join the ranks of Jon Zazula’s Megaforce for the release of their sophomore follow-up, Oppressing the Masses in 1990. One track was dropped from the Oppressing The Masses album and that was Torture Tactics. The band were very satisfied with the track so the label decided to release a 4 track mini album for the sole purpose to get the Torture Tactis track out to the public. Since then the track have become a fan favourite with its fast and crunchy music mixed with the brutal lyrics. Officer Nice is a great song in its original form, but the live version on this EP feels more like a filler track. The two last tracks written exclusively for this EP feels more like a joke, with their over-the-top sexist content, than any serious thrash metal tracks. This vinyl release on purple vinyl is a fun one indeed with its ghost track. The A side has two starting points so depending on which the needle hits first youll never know if youre going to hear Torture Tactisor Officer Nive first.

Track list:
1. Torture Tactics
2. Officer Nice-live
3. Gutterslut
4. Dicks Of Death
