Norways pioneering experimental rockers Virus was formed in 2000 by guitarist and vocalist Carl Michael Eide who wanted to move on from avant-garde black metal of Ved Buens Ende, and create a new kind of experimental metal / rock act. If you havent heard Virus then we can say that these musicians creates an otherworldly sound that is filled with flowing bass lines, experimental riffs and groovy rhythms. Their fourth album, called Memento Collider, continues the strange journey that is Virus. The bass plays a more prominent role in this album. If you’re a fan of these guys, you’ll find that this album does not disappoint. Czral is one of the most distinctive songwriters out there. As per usual, this album is dissonant, quirky, bleak and brilliantly performed.
