Vlad In Tears is a dark, metal, rock and gothic band from Berlin featuring Kris Vlad (vocals), D. Vlad (bass), Gregor Friday (guitar) and Cosmo Cadar (drums). Their fourth studio album is self titled and was released in 2014 and it shows some great instrumental ideas and solid vocals, very unique sound and one of a kind style not very many bands that can pull off this genre as well as these guys do. Feed On Me in my opinion is a gothic love story made metal. Kris Vlad has a voice that I could only describe as power vocals, the best kind of pipes to have. I love the way he sings. Run or Fight is another hard, fast, dark metal song. The lyrics are done with such passion and they tell a story. That is another bonus to this band; the lyrics actually say something and tell a short story. My Way a Frank Sinatra cover shows the range that Kris has. This singer is not only a great metal/rock voice but he has a 4 octave range, and he is also a trained pianist. Vlad In Tears proves that dark rock does not always come from Scandinavia.
