Description

A 10-track Greek compilation album released in September of 1999. The mix of some big names with new and upcoming acts makes it an interesting listening. There were a total of 27 volumes released in the Warzone series between 1997 and 2001.

In Extremo
The German folk metal act In Extremo opens the album with an at the time unreleased track called An Galgen Hochgezogen. The track later ended up on their 2000 album Verehrt Und Angespien but then called Werd Ich Am Galgen Hochgezogen.

Zonata
A Swedish power metal act from Borås that gained lots of great reviews for their debut album Tunes Of Steel. The track on here was the first taster from their follow up album Reality that would be released in 2001

Clive Nolan and Oliver Wakeman
Arena and Pendragon synthesizerist teamed up with Rick Wakemans son Oliver Wakeman and released some real keyboard driven prog albums. This track is from their 1999 album Jabberwocky, an album that both Rick Wakeman and Bob Catley lended their voice too.

Legend Maker
The opening track on this Colombian acts debut album The Path To Glory

C-Fiction
Metalcore band from Dusseldorf in Germany. This band is also known as Complex Fiction. The track here is an exclusive track that never made it onto their debut album that was released the following year.

Antithesis
Antithesis was a US power/thrash metal band formed in 1997, and based in Cleveland, Ohio. They released three albums before disbanding, two of the albums self-released. The track on here is taken from the bands debut album. Since its a private pressings its a bit of a treasurie to get it on here.

Soul Cages
The track on here is from this progressive metal bands 1999 album Craft. Soul Cages was formed in Hemer in Germany back in 1990.

Stahlträger
You Want Change me is taken from their 1999 album Thorax. This is a German thrash metal band formed in Velberg 1996

Enertia
The opening track from the bands debut album Momentum. Thrash metal act from Gloversville in New York that later joined the band Within The Fire

Ten
The compilation ends on a high note with the Manchester, England act Ten. Featuring Gary Hughes on vocals. These opening tracks from the bands 1998 album Spellbound is a good taste of what melodic hard rock can sound like when its done right
