Japan pressing with OBI-strip and insert
Metal supergroup WestWorld was formed in 1997 by TNT frontman Tony Harnell, Riot guitarist Mark Reale, Danger Danger bassist Bruno Ravel and erstwhile Blackmore’s Night drummer John O’Reilly. Their self-titled debut album shows that Tony Harnell is one of the greatest vocalist of all time. WestWorld produced three albums between 1998 and 2003. This first one might lack a bit in production compared to their later albums but the music and musicians are excellent. This is a must buy for anyone that misses the glory days of the 80’s when hard rock was king and MTV would have played nearly every song on here as a video. Just listen to the opening track, Illusions, as it opens just like a classic TNT track but with a faster paced heavy guitar riff. A must for fans of TNT, Riot as well as early 90s rock fans who love Firehouse, Winger, Giant, Danger Danger.
