Of all the glam/pop-metal bands that crawled out of hair salons coast to coast during the mid- to late ’80s, one of the more talented acts was New York’s White Lion, led by singer Mike Tramp (originally from Denmark) and guitarist Vito Bratta. The group originally formed in 1983 and up to 1989 they released three successful studio albums. This limited album features 10 exclusive unreleased demo tracks made during these years handpicked by singer Mike Tramp. Guitarist Vito Bratta and singer Mike Tramp didn’t penetrate the market as songwriters with the fame of Lennon and McCartney or even Page and Plant, for that matter, but they sure know how to put some magic into such a limiting genre, and these unreleased masters and demos are far from throwaways: they are superb.
