Since 2003, Wolfchant successfully started to prove that the proverbial Metal Hammer is not just hanging in Scandinavia. Extreme metal mixed with timeless melodies, driving riffs coupled with epic parts and aggressive screams fading into chorale singing are the essential core, which defines Wolfchant to the listener. Meanwhile, the quintet consisting of Lokhi, Skaahl, Norgahd, Derrmorh and Bahznar definitely belongs to the spearhead of German Viking / Pagan Metal. With their two studio albums ‘Bloody Tales Of Disgraced Lands’ and ‘A Pagan Storm’, they were able to gain a large listenership and celebrated numerous successes.
