Engrained is the second album from the German death metal act Wound. This is death metal played with pure passion and tons of musical emotions. The jagged guitar tone from their debut has been muted and some melodic black/doom elements have been introduced. The actual songs have become more progressive and dynamic. Wounds second album is a sort of sludgy and doomy Entombed with Dissection types of melodic riffs. Not bad at all
