The German electro industrial musician Rudy Ratzinger released his “Schädling” album with his studio project Wumpscut in 2008. The opener “Rusty Nails From Hell” is kicking off and the following “Schäbiger Lump” has been absolutely succinct by the corresponding sample by Roland Freisler (from the trial against the alleged conspirators of July 20, 1944). Good start. On the other hand, with less innovative pieces such as “Break The Seal” or the old-school “Enemy” doesn’t really make your adrenaline flow and a lot on this album feels like repeated phrases and repeated beats. There are a couple of tracks that lean toward ambience, a few more that tend to be noisy, but I would have to say there really are not any club-type tracks on this album. Nothing all that really dance worthy, disappointing for sure, more of a stay-at-home-and-listen release. So when its good its good and should be heard by Wumpscut fans but at the same time its not his best work by any means
