Rare original Bums Records pressing

The history of the Swedish band X-Eryus is an interesting one. The band was formed as early as 1980 under the name Killers. In 1983 they changed their name to Savagers and recorded their first four-track demo. In 1984 they went to Nacka to record the the mega rare mini album Preachers Of Steel. The band werent that satisfied with the mix so they recorded a new five-track demo the year after. They continued to play live but it never really took off and the band were put on hold. Three of the band members decided to reform the band in 1990. Gone were the classic early 80s metal sound and the band started to write more commercial sounding hardrock ala Europe and Treat and decided to change name to X-Eryus. They went to Denmark and recorded their one and only album, Expose, at the Krajbjerg Studio during 4 weeks in 1990. It was released on the Danish label Bums Records, that was formed by Kim Meinert in the mid 80s. The label released approx 100 released and among them were a few hardrock and heavy metal recrds that now are hard to find
