Description

Y3K was formed in Valencia, Spain in 2001. They released their debut album, Retribution, in 2007 after years of releasing demos and cdr singles. This is symphonic black metal with some hellish growls. The band added one more guitarist, a female vocalist and changed name to Retribution after this debut album (their second album, and first under their new name, was called Corpus Antichrist Y3K, to connect the two acts. As Retribution the band gave the symphonic elements a more prominent role. But if you want to go back and hear where this band came from then check out this debut.
