Very rare original City Records pressing with one bonus track

Swedish hard rockers Yale Bate was founded in Lidingo, Stockholm in the mid 80s. The first single and mini album is more AOR then the two later singles and the debut album which is pure well played hard rock. This debut album was released on the small City label and often turns up on many want lists. Features an impressing line-up of drummer Jake Samuels (real name Jakob Samuelsson) who later joined Talisman, Totem, Grand Slam and The Poodles. Guitarist Jonah Dee (real name Johan Norberg) joined Sha-Boom. Yale Bate also included singer Alis Magnum (Magnus Ahlstrom), bass guitarist Andy Clarke (Andreas Claesson) and keyboard player Chris Di Neen (Christian Sandquist). Backing vocals on the album came courtesy of Thomas Vikstrom, from Stormwind, Candlemass and Talk Of The Town, Carina Karlsson and Katarina Wikzewski. Mia Kempff from Yeah Bop Station and Good Clean Fun sings on Still Holdin On.
