Description

Two Sides Of The Coin is the one and only album Yenz. Behind the moniker Yenz we find German producer Jens Reimnitz. Jens says that the music and ideas on this album hails from horror music and bands such as Kiss, Philip Boa And The Voodooclub, Iced Earth and Manowar, Sisters Of Mercy, Turbonegro and so on. However Yenz sounds nothing like the bands mentioned. Instead we find industrial rock, techno, electronic ala Die Krupps where the music is programmed by Daniel Logemann while the vocals is done by Jens. Their are several traces of Jens influences like the slasher inspired Wer Hat Angst Vor Dem Schwrzen Mann and the samples from the Kiss tunes Deuce and Black Diamond as well as the Kiss tribute track, You Wanted The Best You Got The Best. Kiss Is A Passion. In true EBM fasion we also get three remix versions at the end, one of them being made by the German EBM band Massiv In Mensch.
