Led by musician Alex Moklebust, Europe’s Zeromancer won the award for best newcomer of 2000 at the German Alternative Music Awards. Few industrial artists have managed achieve the level of pop and power that Moklebust creates on disc since Trent Reznor first brought nihilistic dance music to a rock audience. For the most part Zeromancer maintains a high songwriting and they have a surprising number of downright catchy tunes.
