Although they had spent much of the previous year supporting a famously devastating debut, Filth Hounds Of Hades, while touring in tandem with some of Britain’s heaviest bands (Girlschool, Diamond Head and their inspirational rabbis Motörhead), Tank started to write an astonishingly restrained and civilized sounding sophomore effort in Power Of The Hunter. The label wanted to release a single and the choice fell on the high-speed adrenalin cover version of The Osmonds Crazy Horses. And as a bonus the band put Filth Bitch Boogie on the B-side. That track wouldnt appear on the coming album which made this single a must have for fans of NWOBHM
