Description

Limited edition with bonus dvd 2011 album from the British Progressive band. The album is the official sequel to their 1984 debut album, ‘The Sentinel’. Many have been waiting for a very long time for this but the wait was more than worth it. The new singer is promising. The music is heavy, dark and more than progressive. These guys continue to get better and better with each album. Long time Pallas fans should not expect the same type of music as the ‘The Sentinel’. This one is different but in a good way. Brown does some amazing keyboards and Murray has the Rickenbacker up front. Mathewson plays some stellar guitar throughout and drums are solid. It's really amazing that this band just keeps out doing themselves with each consecutive release. This is a credit to these musicians who really love the progressive genre and they celebrate it. Thank goodness for bands like Pallas who are keeping up the prog flame. They brought prog back to life in the eighties, came back to life in the 90s and burned it up in the 2000s. Now in this decade they make a new prog statement very much unlike any of their other album. Those of you that really like Pallas will love this. From start to finish XXV is a creative energy filled, prog oriented release that will be vying for prog album of the year. It's probably not what you think but that's what is great about it.
