Description
I guess not many were expected anything from Queensryche after their disastrous Dedicated To Chaos album. Especially after the even worse Cabaret tour that followed. Splitting up was probably the right thing to do as the band couldnt really sink that much lower. But were anyone interested in buying another Queensryche album or a Geoff Tate solo album? For a period we had two different Queensryche.Geoff Tate released Frequency Unknown that wasnt that well received by the critics but actually was a step up from Dedicated To Chaos. The remaining members found a new lead singer in Todd La Torre and released this self titled album in 2013. This is the album that the band needed to do. The music here has touches of Operation Mindcrime and Rage For Order and is the strongest album the band has done since Promised Land. Todd La Torre is fantastic on this album and Rockenfield shows some excellent drumming. This album shows that this once fantastic band is back on track again. Fans who alread have given up need to check this out.
